Dev Vilas offers air conditioned accommodation in 19 Deluxe rooms, of which 14 are Double rooms and 5 are Twin rooms. In addition, there are 2 Suite rooms and 7 Luxury Tented Bungalows. Each room is designed in a unique sequence of colour, style and ambience. Both the Deluxe and Twin rooms are very spacious and have dark wood king or queen size beds with side tables, a sofa set, study table and a carved television console and book shelf. In-room amenities include an intercom telephone, television, tea/coffee maker and mini fridge. Both room categories have two washrooms - one being a full bath with a shower cubicle, bathtub and commode and the other being a half bath. Washroom amenities include a complete basket of toiletries, linen, slippers and a hair dryer. The Suite rooms are larger in size and have a dressing area. The in-room amenities are more and include complimentary soft drinks and a wine bottle.
The Luxury Tented Bungalows, located in a grove of trees, are semi permanent structures with concrete walls and flooring. Each Bungalow is like a private home with a seating area outside. The Bungalows are very tastefully furnished with rich wooden furniture including a bed, study table and clothes rack. The windows have wooden blinds and the soft furnishings are colourful and demonstrate the skills of local craftsmen. The attached washrooms are luxurious with a bathtub and all the amenities available in the Deluxe and Suite rooms.
Location
The Dev Vilas is located at Village Khilchipur on the main Ranthambore Road in Sawai Madhopur. The Sawai Madhopur railway station is around 8 kilometers from the hotel and the main gate of the Ranthambore National Park is about 1.5 kilometers away.
Facilities
Dev Vilas offers a conference room in the hotel for all formal and informal gatherings. The hotel is fully Wi-Fi enabled and can be used by guests for a nominal charge. If guests choose to rent a laptop from the hotel, Wi-Fi usage is complimentary. There is also a common lounge near the lobby area where guests can relax along with an inviting swimming pool and a Kerala massage center. Other facilities available at Dev Vilas include a travel desk, safety deposit lockers, doctor on call, laundry service, guest car parking and accommodation for drivers. The hotel accepts all major credit cards as modes of payment. On request and prior notice, Dev Vilas also organises morning and evening safaris into the Ranthambore National Park.
